Terms of service

These terms cover your use of EmailChamp. They are written to be read, not to hide things. By connecting your Gmail and using the app, you agree to what is below.

Last updated 30 June 2026.

What EmailChamp does

EmailChamp helps you clean up and maintain your Gmail inbox. With your permission it reads information about your mail, sorts it into labels, archives or trashes what looks done, and then keeps the inbox tidy on a daily schedule. How it decides is explained in How EmailChamp keeps you safe, and what it stores is covered in our privacy & security page.

Your account and access

You sign in with your own email and connect through Google's sign-in. EmailChamp asks for one permission: to read and organize your mail. You are responsible for the account you connect and for keeping access to your own email secure. One person, one account. You can withdraw access at any time from your Google Account settings or by disconnecting Gmail on your dashboard.

What you are responsible for

  • Use the service for your own inbox and for lawful purposes only.
  • Do not try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or to other people's data.
  • Review what the cleanup proposes.EmailChamp shows you a plan before it acts and lets you change decisions. Deleted mail goes to Gmail's Trash, where Gmail keeps it recoverable for about 30 days; permanent removal is Gmail's own behavior, not something the app does.

Payments and cancellation

The one-time cleanup and basic use are described on the app. Daily upkeep is a paid subscription. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card (see privacy & security). You can cancel anytime from Settings. Cancelling stops the charge and the daily upkeep going forward and keeps what EmailChamp has learned, so returning is easy. Prices and plans may change; we will tell you before a change affects what you pay.

Availability and changes

EmailChamp is an early product run by a solo founder, offered on a best effort basis. Features can change and the service can be paused or discontinued. Email rules and AI judgments are not perfect, so the app may occasionally misfile or miss something; that is why deletions are recoverable from Trash and why you stay in control of your decisions.

No warranty and limits

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, EmailChamp is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for amounts greater than what you paid for the service in the prior twelve months. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

Ending and deleting

You can stop using EmailChamp whenever you like: disconnect Gmail to revoke access, or delete your data entirely from Settings, which erases what the app has learned about your mailbox and closes your account. We may suspend an account that abuses the service or puts other users at risk.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
